Who’s behind it
Kevin “derRumble” Link
Founder & Community Lead
I’ve spent years inside gaming communities, building, moderating and growing them: Discord servers, social channels, creator programs and live formats. ReKaiku is the studio version of that work: community management with editorial thinking and hands-on execution. When a project needs more hands, I bring in trusted specialists from my network, but the strategy and the responsibility stay with me.
The road here
Writer, editor and streamer: 4Players (FUNKE), MIXED, Deep Content by heise, Guided.news and SPACE4GAMES. Years of learning how stories travel, what audiences actually read, and how to hit a deadline in a loud news week.
Community management for game studios and Toplitz Productions: Discord architecture, creator programs, playtest systems, and live ops through content droughts and rough launches.
The studio version of all of it. Community management for games, founder-operated: strategy, systems and execution from one person who has done the work hands-on.
Home base: the German countryside, one hour from gamescom.

Social Media Creation
Kim is ReKaiku's junior and learns the trade the old way: next to someone who does it every day. She writes captions, keeps the posting schedule running and handles the camera at events. At gamescom 2026 she covered the show floor while Kevin sat in meetings. She came to this as a gamer, with TFT and Palworld on heavy rotation, and off the clock she draws, crochets and does self-taught tattoo work. Client work and strategy stay with Kevin.
Where the name comes from
Say something into a community and it comes back: louder, changed, carried by people who were not in the room when you said it. The “Re” is the part most brands forget. Response, return, repetition. An echo only exists because something answers.
That is why the mascot is called Kaiku, and why he wears a headset. He listens first.
It is also how I work. Understand a community before you talk to it, then build the conditions that make it answer.
What makes it different
You work directly with the founder: no handoffs, no account managers.
Editorial craft from years in games media, applied to community work.
Systems that keep running when the week gets loud.
Communities treated as ecosystems, not audiences to extract from.
Honest reporting: you always see what worked, what did not, and what happens next.
